Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Nail Coat
This stuff is the only reason I can ever do my own nails — no more waiting 8 bazillion hours for your polish to dry.

Essie has a quick-dry top coat that I also like, but this Seche Vite has a much nicer glossy finish that really looks like a gel manicure. I’m not sure what chemical voodoo it uses to make everything set and dry so quickly, but it’s the difference between waiting around like an invalid for what feels like hours and getting back to your life after you do your nails. If you’ve applied more than one coat of color you do have to watch it for a while because even if the top is dry you can still smudge, but generally this is a miracle product in every way.
