Baby Teeth, by Zoje Stage
This book won’t be for everyone, but if you like creepy/unsettling stories that keep you guessing, give Baby Teeth a try.
THE BUZZ:
Baby Teeth is cut from a similar cloth as We Need to Talk About Kevin, which is to say it’s a super-disturbing mother/child relationship where it’s kinda murky at first whether things are really as effed up as they seem or if someone (or multiple people) are experiencing delusions. I could not put this book down, although I will say it wasn’t 100% satisfying at the end for me. But in terms of a spooky read that keeps you hooked, this one’s a winner.
