It Cosmetics Bye Bye Under Eye Concealer
I have my drugstore brand for spot coverage, which I sometimes use under my eyes. But when I REALLY want to lighten my dark circles I turn to this Bye Bye Undereye, which provides the best coverage I’ve tried.
THE BUZZ:
I know, I know, I JUST recommended a concealer, and now you’re like, wait, is this not another concealer? Yes. My face is a haggard wasteland that requires MULTIPLE SPACKLINGS, okay? I sometimes forgo the undereye area altogether (“It’s French,” I try to tell myself), I sometimes use put a swipe or two of whatever I have on hand. But when I really, really want to cover up the ever-darkening half-moons that have plagued me all my life and now in my forties bring a piquant sprinkling of “Oh, have you been … unwell?” to my lewk, this It Cosmetics stuff is the TITS.
How I use this
This concealer is the BIG GUNS, and requires kind of a special touch. I don’t feel like I can dab it on all willy-nilly and rush right out the door, you know what I mean? If you go too heavy it will definitely get all stage-makeupy on you, so my approach is to apply a bunch of very tiny dots under my eyes, then blendblendblend with a damp Beauty Blender sponge. I use a little bit of powder for setting — too much and it gets cakey! I KNOW, THIS IS A FUSSY PRODUCT. But the coverage seriously cannot be beat, it’s like hitting your face with an Snapchat filter or something. If you share my zombie-like undereyes, it’s the best product I’ve found to lighten things up.
