Dior Nail Glow

This is basically a mostly-clear nail polish that costs a stupid amount of money. So we need to start there: Dior’s Nail Glow is a ridiculous luxury, but if you like the occasional splurge, it’s a worthy one.

I’m not sure how I stumbled onto Dior’s Nail Glow, but I’m here to tell you it’s an extremely nice polish if what you want are pretty, natural nails. It’s almost clear but not quite: there’s a pink tint to it (much more visible outside, for some reason) that makes your nails look naturally flushed. The product claim is that “the pinks of the nails become pinker and the whites become whiter,” and while I don’t agree that it somehow magically creates a french manicure effect it does look very pretty — the flush is flattering to the hands in the same way a flushed cheek is to the face, somehow. Combine this with the cuticle gel, and you’ve got picture-perfect nails without the need for color or a professional manicure.
