Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz

I wish this pencil wasn’t so damn good.

THE BUZZ:

I kind of hate to keep recommending this pencil because it’s not cheap and the amount of product that’s included is downright STINGY. However, I keep trying all the cheaper dupes and nothing holds a candle to the OG.  I’ve bought it time and time again and it’s the perfect tool for filling in my way-too-sparse brows without tipping over into Joan Crawford territory. There’s just something about that narrow tip and the wax consistency of the pencil, I don’t know why it’s so great but it IS.

(My best advice for making it last: retract the product each time you use it. If you drop it, and the product breaks off … WOE. SO MUCH WOE.)

  • Easy to use
  • Expensive but worth it
  • Taupe is a great tone for many
  • A lifesaver if you overplucked in the 90’s (GUILTY)

Why I love it

I get this pencil in taupe, which seems to be the right tone for my blondish/brownish hair. Between the product itself and the standout spoolie, I can get by with just a little bit of fill-in and grooming for my daily routine. When I’m feeling like putting more effort into things, I also layer in some powder from this brand’s Brow Powder Duo for a more full, dramatic look.

  1. I loved IT cosmetics super skinny brow power because it came in universal gray but I am sad because it was discontinued so on the search for a new one.

    1. Yes, I agree — I ultimately came back to the Brow Wiz (something about the waxiness of the product is just right with it) but it’s a great less-expensive solution.
