Okay, you’re probably thinking scrunchies … REALLY? Like what year even is this, etc. Here’s the backstory for this purchase: I’ve been using the same grimy scrunchie for pulling up my hair when I take a bath forever, and one day I thought, self, why not use something that feels kind of fantastic for this nightly self-care ritual? These scrunchies are superbig, supersoft, and they give me Jason Momoa vibes while I’m, you know, exfoliating or whatever. Plus if you don’t have the kind of thick Instagram-ready hair that looks great when piled up, the fabric itself adds volume and makes it all work somehow.
What I REALLY like about these hair ties (can’t…keep…typing…scrunchie) is that they’re much more comfortable than a regular tie. No hairband headache, you know? Would I wear them out in public? Look, if it’s good enough for AQUAMAN, then I guess I would, but they’re mostly for home use. Your giant velvet scrunchie mileage may vary.
